So 2022 is coming to a close. Another busy year, where things have several times slowed down to a crawl (for example during the last 5-6 weeks before Christmas).
It’s annoying, but it’s unfortunately not something I can do a lot about at the moment. The problem is not that I’m stuck or anything like that; it’s purely a matter of being able to make time to work on the game. And while P&T2 is important, family and health take precedence.
There has been some issues with the NPC interactions/saloon for some time now; trying to figure out what has gone wrong there is currently my number 1 priority. Unfortunately my laptop seized up during the holidats (I’m actually waiting for some reinstalls to get sorted out while writing this), but assuming it gets sorted out, I am still hoping to get an update out before the end of the year.
Once the NPC interaction is sorted out, I think the next goal will be to try and test out the new UI I’ve been building in libgdx. I’ll have more on this eventually, but it’s one of the things which makes me excited about the coming updates of P&T2. I just need the time to actually finish working on this.
Thanks for continuing to support MicaBytes. Have a Merry Christmas (or whatever season you celebrate) and Good Fortune to you in 2023.
