The details of ship improvements is more complex than can quickly be covered here. Note that the cost of ship improvements vary depending on your ship, and that many ship improvements cost cargo space, in addition to costing money. The following table summarizes the key effects, requirements, and notes the cost modifier that each improvement is affected by, as well as whether or not it reduces the cargo space of your ship when purchased.
